ai-comic-drama-director-skills is an agent skill project by djyy1031 on GitHub: AI manju director: script + existing assets → Seedance 2.0/2.5 storyboard-group prompts, covering character performance, direction and cinematography, scene assets, blocking diagrams, continuity and sound. It covers adaptation, characters, review, storyboard and prompts, with prompts for Seedance / Jimeng, and its README says it works with Codex. 13 stars, last updated 2026-10-11, MIT license.
Editor's notes
Built for Codex and installable from GitHub with $skill-installer; prompt-only work needs at least 4 skills: the main workflow plus performance, directing and continuity. The default is a lightweight seven-step flow: break down the script, confirm parameters, verify the user's assets, call the performance, directing and continuity skills in turn, then write storyboard-group prompts. Groups run up to 15 seconds for Seedance 2.0 and up to 30 for 2.5, with 25–30 preferred within one scene; dialogue starts within 0.5 seconds of a cut, and each dialogue shot ends with a no-subtitles line. Most skills ship Python validation scripts.

Names and descriptions come from each SKILL.md frontmatter; Chinese descriptions are shown in our English translation.
- ai-character-performance-assets
Turns locked script events and original dialogue into a callable character performance plan, establishing each character's performance DNA, scene objective, obstacles, tactic shifts, listener reactions, physical behavior, performance beats and cross-shot state inheritance. For dialogue, monologue, silence, threat, comedy and relationship scenes in AI manju and video storyboards; does not rewrite lines, decide episode splits, design the camera or output final video prompts.
- ai-cinematic-directing-assets
Provides callable professional directing-language assets for AI manju, animated shorts and video generation prompts, coordinating character performance, shot function, camera, action effects and execution continuity, and returns a neutral directorial shot representation. Suited to being called by the "AI manju director" before generating Seedance 2.0 or 2.5 storyboard groups; does not split episodes, rewrite the original script, manage project assets or replace the final model prompt.
- ai-comic-scene-assets
Organizes cross-episode scenes in a full novel or script into an inheritable, consistent scene asset system, building scene families, spatial relationships, fixed visual DNA, regional master assets, camera-position assets, state variants and image generation prompts. For AI manju scene asset planning and consistent production; does not handle characters, props, episode splitting, storyboards or plot rewrites.
- ai-shot-execution-continuity
Checks an established AI manju or video shot plan for first frame, character blocking, body orientation, eyelines, prop hands, camera axis, light direction, action physics, audio-track carryover and state at cuts, and returns compilable local fix locks. For use after storyboard design and before final video prompts; does not rewrite the plot, re-split episodes, default to a single long take or replace the final prompt.
- ai-storyboard-asset-grounding
Inspects and verifies, item by item, the scene, character, prop and sound assets the user has already finished, and converts them into identity, space, lighting, prop-state and sound-binding anchors the storyboard can call. For use after the user provides a script and finished assets and before designing video storyboard prompts; does not generate assets, rewrite the plot, decide episode splits, design shots or output final video prompts.
- ai-storyboard-blocking-assets
Building on an existing script and local finished assets, makes a blocking reference image for each storyboard group showing the relevant characters in the real scene, decides reuse between adjacent groups by spatial relationship, saves the images and binds them to the storyboard prompts. For character position and state continuity across manju storyboard groups; does not replace script adaptation, storyboard directing or video generation.
- make-ai-comic-drama
From the current script and user-supplied assets, makes storyboard-group prompts that are coherent and tight, with clear performance, workable space and complete sound; uses a lightweight prompt workflow by default and turns on asset production and project management only when the user explicitly asks for full project production.
