Editor's notes
Install with npx skills add; the scripts need Python 3.9+, and cutting the final episode also needs ffmpeg. Each stage records its decisions in Markdown files (剧本.md, 视觉设定.md, 分镜.md, 图片提示词.md, 视频提示词.md), and creator_markdown_check.py checks shot references and durations across them. The produce skill first runs prepare to preview the batch and calls paid APIs only after the creator explicitly confirms; it has built-in MiniMax and Seedance video adapters. The README's 68-second vertical sample cost about ¥40 in video generation.

Skills in this repo (12)
Names and descriptions come from each SKILL.md frontmatter; Chinese descriptions are shown in our English translation.
- short-drama-knowhow
Maintainer-only learning, validation and lifecycle governance for short drama know-how. Use only when a maintainer explicitly asks to learn full short drama project chains from authorized read-only text sources supplied in the current session, and to turn private observations step by step into de-identified, de-replicated, blind-tested and independently reviewed candidates for public references, rubrics or synthetic fixtures; not for ordinary writing, public runtime data fetching, media generation or rough data analysis.
- short-drama-assets
Breaks a short drama script down into characters/looks, locations/views, props/states and cross-scene continuity, written up as creator-readable visual settings. Use when the user says "break down characters/scenes/props", "set up assets", "decide reuse or a new variant", "update a look/prop state", or takes an existing script straight into visual asset prep; does not write image prompts or generate media.
- short-drama-develop
Develops Chinese novels, short drama or manju ideas, synopses, adaptation material, existing series notes or multi-episode full scripts into a traceable adaptation plan, dramatic direction, creative brief, director's statement, story engine and episode map, choosing the approach by genre and production form (art style). Use when the user says "import a novel to make a short drama", "generate/fill in an episode map from a multi-episode full draft", "develop a short drama/manju", "build story settings/series outline/episode plan", "write a director's statement", "how should this genre be written", "set the art style/production form", "turn this idea into a short drama", or needs to sort out character conflicts and handoffs between episodes; an existing single-episode script can go straight to writing, assets or review without development files.
- short-drama-edit
Cuts generated short drama shots into a finished piece, recording in/out points, shot order, sound, subtitles and delivery specs. Use for template edits, adding subtitles, loudness normalization, pacing changes or exporting polished material; when footage must be added or the story changed, hands back to the relevant creative stage.
- short-drama-image-prompts
Writes or revises copy-ready image prompt Markdown for short drama characters, looks, locations, props and states. Use when the user mentions character sheets, turnaround sheets, reference images, scene boards, prop images, style frames, Look Development, state variants or local-edit prompts; does not generate images or call providers.
- short-drama-novel-analyze
Breaks a long novel, serialized web fiction or scattered multi-episode drafts into a traceable source analysis: chapter index, quick adaptation-value review, per-chapter function extraction, plot units and pacing aggregation, character and setting consolidation, and finally an adaptation-value verdict and episode candidates handed to $short-drama-develop to set the contract. Use when the user says "import this novel", "break down this book", "analyze the source", "can this book become a short drama", "first see if it's worth breaking down", "split this long novel into episode candidates", or gives a novel file path directly. Read-only structured analysis only: no scripts, no assets, no media, and no adaptation decisions on the creator's behalf.
- short-drama-produce
After the creator's explicit confirmation, runs image, video, TTS/voice-over or timeline music production jobs for a short drama project and writes the results and a compact run log back into the project. Use when the user says "generate this image/video/line of voice-over/piece of score", "start running images/videos/synthesize speech/generate music", "send the confirmed prompts to production", or asks for a batch of confirmed media jobs; does not write prompts, shots, lines, lyrics or voice identities, and never treats a preview, "continue", a budget note or an earlier acceptance as confirmation for this paid production run.
- short-drama-review
Reviews the source analysis, story, script, visual settings, image prompts, storyboard, frozen keyframes, video prompts and existing media in a short drama project. Use when the user asks to "review/check the script", "check assets or continuity", "check image/video prompts", "check the source analysis", "review for template feel", or "calibrate the project from production observations"; writes only issues, conclusions and revision requests, without editing source files in place of their owners.
- short-drama-storyboard
Writes Chinese short drama scripts and visual settings into storyboard Markdown with dramatic purpose, continuity boundaries and frozen keyframe prompts. Use when the user asks to "break down shots/design shots/make a shot list", "scene visual plan/blocking storyboard", "compare directing options", "write first-frame/keyframe prompts", or checks axis, blocking, eyeline or held-prop continuity; does not generate media.
- short-drama-video-prompts
Turns short drama storyboards and frozen keyframes into copy-ready video prompt Markdown, and can also write timeline score/theme song intent on request. Use when the user mentions text- or image-to-video action, performance, camera movement, lip sync, environmental motion, shot duration, start/end states, turning a storyboard into video prompts, or writing score prompts; does not generate media, write lyrics or change storyboard boundaries.
- short-drama-write
Writes or revises shootable Chinese short drama and manju single-episode Markdown scripts, and also preserves and normalizes the author's existing scripts. Use when the user asks to "write/revise an episode", "turn the outline into a script", "polish scenes/dialogue", "remove the template feel", "de-AI polish", "write the next episode", or provides script requirements to move into later production; does not handle assets, storyboards, media prompts or final review.
- short-drama
Initializes and continues short drama or manju projects on the file system, with creator-first five-document routing, a local Dashboard, and production-form and Look Development decisions. Use when the user asks to "create/continue a short drama project", "see progress/next step", "do Look Development", "open the dashboard/short drama studio", "export production materials", or when a task spans several creative stages; explicit writing, asset, prompt, storyboard, editing or review requests go straight to the matching sub-skill.
