zhlmi/narrative-to-screen-reader

narrative-to-screen-reader is an agent skill project by zhlmi on GitHub: Translates your story into film-development language: quick diagnosis, a screenwriter's adaptation reader, a director's audiovisual reader, an actor's reader and a producer's summary. It covers topic, adaptation and characters. 122 stars, last updated 2026-10-01, no license declared.

Editor's notes

Input can be a long role-play chat log, a novel, an outline or a draft script, and anything over 50KB is read in batches. It first settles the narrative frame (whose story this is), showing a frame-inference card for the user to choose when frames compete, then runs a quick diagnosis graded A/B/C/D/D0 and stops until the user confirms before writing any full reader. Every reader is written to a Markdown file, with only a summary and links in the chat, and the last stage can produce an AI screenplay prompt pack. The repo includes 7 sample PDFs built from a story titled 调音师; the docs are in Chinese and no license is declared.
