Install by cloning into ~/.claude/skills/cinematic-director; the current version is 2.1.0. SKILL.md uses a routing table to load only the reference files a request needs; the full pass has 13 steps and output modes A through J, covering beat sheets, a director's book, shot lists, sound plans and edit timelines. There are now 20 director styles, each with a YAML parameter block that overrides the defaults, and failed generations are diagnosed against failure codes F1 to F19. It defaults to 16:9 and switches to 9:16 when the user mentions Douyin or short video; the docs address film and AI video in general.
